    Remarks:

The poll was conducted in the aftermath of the publication, on 29 October 2020, of a critical report from the Equality and Human Rights Commission on its investigation into allegations of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party (and which had ruled the party to have breached the Equality Act 2010). Soon afterwards, Jeremy Corbyn (the party’s former leader) was suspended from the party following his immediate public response to the report, which appeared to have downplayed the extent of anti-Semitism in the party. Although he was subsequently reinstated as a member of the party, the new leader, Sir Keir Starmer, had declined to restore the whip to Corbyn to enable him to sit in the House of Commons as a Labour MP.
