Numbersand committment go together and the only way of measuring that in an Anglican church is in relation to attendance at the Sunday eucharist and communicants. It is the Eucharistic ciommunity, the faithful gathered at the alrat on a Sunday, that IS the local church. If that goes iunto decline, they the church goes into decline. Counting bumns on pews is not enough.
