This is very interesting. Thanks for sharing this information. I think, these surveys might be of particular interest for those, working on religion and its impact on social capital, as active involvement in leisure-time activities and social networks is an integral part of Putnam’s concept of social capital. The focus would then be on ‘being actively religious’, as the belief-dimension wasn’t asked in the survey. (If the sample-size is this big, maybe one could even look at Muslims and compare their social capital with that of Christians in Britian?)
