Remarks:
The survey was prompted by an incident in London on 12 December 2016 when a man stabbed another passenger on a crowded train after having shouted ‘I want to kill a Muslim’. Data were collected via the YouGov Daily mobile app, which had a slightly different sample than the general population and was subject to a somewhat higher margin of error than standard YouGov polling.
